The rise of the machines and the death of the written word

In this class we have been asked how we are going to hit these key elements? Look at the proof you need to demonstrate and how you will present that information

Verification

What steps will you take to ensure your piece is watertight and verifiable across the whole piece?

I will try to get quotes and or opinions from both sides of the divide. This will give credibility to the piece, if I can gather the opinions of the experts in the field it will allow me to verify through industry leaders and thought leaders in this field what it is that I am saying is correct. Furthermore if I show the counter arguments to these opinions then that will increase my credibility with the reader showing that I have not neglected to give voice to the dissenters. Instead rather I have dealt with their concerns and reservations that i have give voice to their concerns concerning certain view. And instead of ignoring them or shutting them down I can then constructively criticise and break down the counter arguments allowing me to see both sides and allowing me to illustrate and showcase my ability to critically Analyse this argument.

Have you critically considered your demographics cohort and how this story will interest them?

Explain how you will present it to appeal to your audience?

I will present it to appeal to my audience by using the language they are familiar with as well as the influence rs in that field and to use examples that they are familiar with e.g social media, meme wars trolling the culture war between the left and the right 4chan brightbart the guardian. Key board warriors etc. Also I will use statistics to show them that it is them on these sites there demographics etc.

Write down all or any implications your story may have that can make a connection to you – anything that can be called into question to demonstrate bias.

My view is that this is not entirely a bad thing (the death of the spoken word and the rise of the machines). I want to, not only warn against the dangers of losing the skills and abilities that the written word and reading hard copy books can give us but to illustrate the advantages of this type of learning. I want to give my view of what is to come and the dangers of this but also I want to give them some solace and some advice on what steps they can take to help combat the inevitable rising of the tide.

I want to highlight the dangers but also to give them alternatives and coping skills and mechanisms. In order so that while we may lose some elements of the written word that we ought not lose the skills and abilities that it provides or we do so at our peril. I want ton draw parallels with the frontier spirit of the old west and the lawlessness that this generation and this epoch had and also the dangers that this era posed.
